Special perfluorinated (i.e. completely free of hydrogen) monomers and corresponding compounding and process technologies can be used to manufacture materials with highly elastic properties that are very close to PTFE in media resistance and thermal resistance.

Seals made of perfluororubber are used everywhere extreme safety standards are applicable and higher maintenance and repair costs exceed the price of the seals.
